Stone-free, fast and safe

We know what it means when someone loses their teeth and their quality of life deteriorates as a result. At Globe Dental, we offer a modern, digitally designed implant procedure that is extremely precise and causes as little discomfort as possible. Artificial root implantation is the most modern solution for replacing missing teeth. The most important factor in the success of an implant is its position.

How is this achieved?

Most traditional implant procedures are performed in the classic manner, based on X-ray images and freehand.

The digitally designed implant procedure is an innovative technology that allows the treating dentist to achieve perfect planning and positioning.

The dentist plans the procedure on a computer in a relaxed environment, using a 3D CT scan of the patient. The CT scan is also taken on site, so there is no need to go to an external X-ray center. In cases where more complicated bone replacement, etc. is required, minimal sutures can be expected.

Implant positioning is a very precise procedure. The Guide, a surgical aid manufactured specifically for each patient, ensures that the implant is placed in the perfect position. During the procedure, it is important that the implant is placed in an aesthetically and anatomically ideal position and that healing occurs accordingly.

Don’t miss out on our unique offer: we are currently offering a 40% discount on 3D Guides for one dental arch and a 50% discount for two dental arches!

Discounted CONSULTATION AND CT

Most implant procedures are performed in the traditional manner at other dental clinics, based on X-rays and freehand techniques. The digitally planned implant procedure is an innovative technology that allows the treating dentist to achieve perfect planning and positioning. The dentist plans the procedure on a computer in a relaxed environment, using a 3D CT scan of the patient. The CT scan is also performed on site at our clinic. Now, at the end of the treatment, the discounted consultation package fee will also be credited!

We plan your teeth in advance!

The coDiagnostiX planning software (Straumann Group) we use has the huge advantage of allowing us to plan the teeth in advance, with prosthetic backward planning ensuring the most ideal implant positions. This is currently the most modern form of implant planning.

After planning, we use 3D printing to create a surgical template, known as a guide, which ensures that the implants are placed in exactly the right position. Perfect use of the system requires a certain degree of specialization, extensive experience, and preparation, which is why not all oral surgeons use it.

There is no cutting, so there are no post-operative complaints, no swelling, and no 1-2 weeks of recovery time!

What are the benefits of digitally planned implantation?

  1. It is considered the most modern diagnostic procedure today, because treatment is preceded by the highest quality 3D diagnostics.
  2. Minimization of surgical risks: the undesirable risks and complications of traditional implantation can be avoided thanks to extremely precise planning and execution.
  3. Shorter surgery time:
the duration of the procedure can be reduced to a fraction of the time thanks to the most advanced preparations and specialized surgical instruments.
  4. Minimal discomfort and pain:
thanks to this modern procedure, sutures are often unnecessary and pain can be significantly reduced. In contrast to traditional freehand implantation, the procedure is ideally performed with minimal tissue damage.
  5. Additional procedures can be avoided:
In many cases, expensive and unpleasant additional surgeries can be avoided thanks to the full utilization of existing anatomical features. Therefore, it can be said that thanks to this technology, implantation is extremely safe and accurate, and it also reduces the discomfort associated with the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Implants are the most modern method of replacing lost teeth, the least invasive procedure for the other teeth, and have an exceptionally high long-term success rate.

Implants are artificial roots made of titanium, which are manufactured from tissue-friendly biomaterials. The implants are placed into the jawbone during minor oral surgery with the aim of later building a new tooth on top of these “roots.”

  1. Initial consultation at Globe Dental’s dental center in Balatonkenese or Budapest
  2. Our oral surgeons will prepare a detailed treatment plan and price quote for you.
  3. We take a CT scan on site for 3D diagnostics: the CT scan maps the area of tooth loss as well as the bone tissue and soft tissues. The scan takes only a few seconds and is, of course, painless.
  4. Computer-assisted surgical planning: our dentist plans the implant procedure on a computer in a relaxed environment, based on the CT scan. The program allows us to accurately model the size and placement of the implants, taking into account the available bone quantity and quality, as well as the location of the nerve channels and sinuses.
  5. Implant placement. The implants are placed in their pre-planned positions in the shortest possible time, causing you the least possible discomfort.
  6. Preparation of dental prostheses: after the healing period, your dentist will prepare the most suitable dental prosthesis for the implanted implant.

When people lose their first tooth, they usually have no idea what this means, apart from the aesthetic imperfection. Dental implantation is a way of replacing lost teeth. A traditional bridge requires two or more pillars to bridge the gap, but this is not necessary with implants, as an implant, i.e., a screw-shaped artificial root made of titanium, is inserted to hold the crown in place.

What other problems does a missing tooth cause?

  • The contact system between the teeth (the so-called contact point system) is disrupted.
  • The tooth opposite the missing tooth may protrude.
  • The forces acting on the teeth are transformed.
  • Bone resorption naturally begins at the site of tooth extraction.

For the latter reason, it is best to implant teeth immediately after tooth extraction or as soon as possible so that there is still sufficient bone for implantation! Of course, there are situations where traditional bridge replacement is the right choice, especially if there is some reason that excludes implantation.

What if there are no contraindications?

The many advantages of implants

  • Dental implants mean that the teeth adjacent to the gap do not need to be ground down, which is necessary when making a bridge.
  • An implant prevents bone loss. If you decide to have a bridge, bone loss will unfortunately occur over time. Since the artificial root prevents bone loss, you do not have to worry about ever having to wear removable dentures, as even a fixed replacement can be designed for implanted artificial roots.
  • Dental implants last a lifetime. Dental bridges have a maximum lifespan of 10-15 years.
  • No tooth decay develops next to dental implants.
  • When choosing dental implants, daily dental care and oral hygiene are much easier, similar to your own teeth.
  • In the long term, dental implants are much more affordable than bridges because they last longer and do not damage adjacent teeth. Just do the math!
  • Another frequently requested option is that they can be used to securely attach dentures in an edentulous mouth.
  • Also in an edentulous mouth, after placing 6-8 implants (per jaw), a 12-unit bridge can be placed, restoring full chewing function while perfectly satisfying aesthetic requirements.
Our specialists provide personalized treatment tailored to your needs, so we calculate the exact price based on this. For your information, you can find our prices here: our prices.

There are two types of dental prostheses that can be made for implants: fixed or removable prostheses.

1. Fixed prostheses

Fixed prostheses are permanently cemented or screwed in place and cannot be removed from the mouth; only a dentist can remove them. Examples include implant crowns and bridges. These replacements feel like your own teeth.

2. Removable dental prostheses

Removable replacements must be taken out and cleaned by the patient at least once a day. These removable replacements are stabilized with implants, so they are much more secure than traditional dentures, which are only held in place by the gums and usually move around, which is why patients dislike them. Implant-stabilized dentures do not move, provide a confident feeling, and do not require the use of denture adhesive.

Fifty years ago, a Swedish professor discovered that titanium-based metal plates have a very special property: they encourage bone to grow onto their surface. Since then, this pure metal has had a successful career and is used in many areas of medicine, such as for joining broken bones, hip prostheses and, of course, dental implants. Recent experience has shown that titanium does not cause damage to the body and that allergies to it are rare, resulting in a success rate of over 96 percent in millions of implants worldwide.

What parts does an implant tooth consist of?
  • An implant tooth consists of three parts: the artificial root, i.e. the implant part, the superstructure, i.e. the head part, and the crown.
What are single-phase and two-phase implants?
  • A single-stage implant is when the artificial root and the superstructure are not separate parts, but a single unit. In this case, a crown is placed on the superstructure part of the artificial root (which is visible above the gum) after the surgery, usually as a temporary replacement. These are known as immediate load implants.
  • A two-stage implant is when the artificial root and the superstructure are separate parts. In this case, after implantation, the artificial root heals in the bone and the gum is closed over it. These are known as traditional, two-stage implants.
Types of implantation in terms of timing of placement
  • Immediate implantation is when the implant is placed at the same time as the tooth extraction.
  • Delayed implantation – the artificial root can be inserted 4-8 weeks after tooth extraction.
  • Late implantation – more than 3 months elapse between the insertion of the implant and tooth extraction.
Types of implants in terms of the timing of tooth replacement
  • Immediate load implant: The tooth replacement is placed within 48-72 hours after implantation.
  • Early load implant: The dental prosthesis is placed in contact position after 48 hours, but within three months.
  • Delayed loading implant: The dental prosthesis is placed in its final form after a healing period of three to six months.
In terms of implant superstructure material
  • Zirconium implant superstructure: We recommend white implant heads for perfect aesthetics in the aesthetic zone.
  • Titanium implant superstructure: We recommend implant heads made of pure titanium metal with high load-bearing capacity for the chewing zone.
